The biggest takeaway from my twenty year community services career is that we all have the ability to shape our lives to match what we truly want. When I started working in mental health in my early 20’s, it became clear to me that no matter what challenges we face, we can create a life that truly reflects our own vision. Having someone by your side to help guide you through tough times and believe in your abilities and dreams can be a game-changer.  My belief in others' potential has guided my approach in both hands on work and leadership roles.
